Through the years, Mocse has grown far beyond our humble beginnings into a community-focused credit union with many of your friends and neighbors as members (you wondered how they could afford that new car!).

Our history
When Mocse Federal Credit Union was granted its charter in February of 1959, Mocse’s membership consisted of seven members and an asset size of $35.00.
These seven founding members recognized that employees of Modesto City Schools were in need of financial services provided by a credit union. They were correct in this assumption.
Over the years, Mocse has developed at an astonishing pace, expanding our financial services and our field of membership. On July 7, 2001, Mocse Federal Credit Union merged with Central Valley Credit Union, and on February 24, 2005, our charter was expanded to include Stanislaus, Tuolumne, Mariposa and Merced counties. We currently have over 28,000 members and an asset size of over $400 million.

Mocse is a financial cooperative owned by members for the benefit of members.

Mocse Credit Union offers membership to persons who live, work, worship, or attend school in, and businesses and other legal entities located within Stanislaus, Merced, Mariposa and Tuolumne Counties, California.
